Fight for Families 5k – Walk in a Foster Child’s Shoes
Fostering the Family’s Fight for Families 5k will offer insight into the life of a child traveling through the child welfare system. Our specific intention is to raise awareness about the foster and adoption crises and see our community come together to bring about change.

The Halversons first adopted after they had been married for 9 months. They started off by adopting two boys, but added another shortly thereafter. In short order, they had a biological child as well.
