The purpose of this Prayer Walk is to bring together the state, the church, businesses, and local nonprofits to Stand for Children during Child Abuse Prevention Month.

We at Fostering the Family feel strongly that there will never be systemic change unless the community at large works together to solve the negative implications on our society as a result of children who are abused, neglected, and left lonely without a loving family environment.

We are better together! When we come together, then we can educate and support More Than Enough foster, adoptive, and kindship families. Will you join us? REGISTER FREE

Fight for Families 5k 2024 Banner

Fostering the Family will be hosting our Fifth Annual Fight for Families 5k Trail Run/Walk. This race will be held at Allison Creek Park and will bring awareness to the local foster and adoption crisis.

While this race is a true 5k, it will also have some elements that offer an interactive insight into the life of a child traveling through the child welfare system.
